The Medical Imaging Center was founded by Boulder Radiologists who opened the doors 35 years ago in Broomfield and have been at the current location, 36 Garden Center, for 22 years. The 12 radiologists who make up Boulder Radiologists, P.C. are all Board Certified and interpret all the studies performed at Medical Imaging Center. They work closely with you and your doctor to make sure that you receive the most accurate and cost effective imaging study in a timely and caring manner.
The MIC philosophy has a strong emphasis on a proactive and practical approach to personal wellness and therefore provide screening mammograms, ultrasounds and bone density examinations.
With a physicians order you can obtain diagnostic x-rays on a walk-in basis and various ultrasound procedures by appointment with a very short wait time. However, screening mammograms and ultrasound screening of the carotid arteries and aorta do not require a physician’s order, just a physician to send the results to.
At MIC we strive to keep our costs low and our quality of patient care high; therefore imaging services at MIC are typically less expensive than at other facilities. MIC also participates with the majority of insurance plans in the state of Colorado. See insurance list for details and our policy.
