David A. Oppenheimer, M.D.
Dr. Oppenheimer received his undergraduate and medical degree from the six-year Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University. He completed his residency and research fellowship at Stanford University.
A board-certified diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Oppenheimer has practiced at Boulder Community Hospital as his first and only job since 1983. He is the president of Boulder Radiologists Inc, a physician group working exclusively with Boulder Community Hospital to provide the highest quality radiologist services available anywhere.
He practices all facets of diagnostic imaging. He has a special interest in woman's imaging, including mammography, minimally invasive breast biopsy, bone density
testing (DEXA) and breast MRI. He is certified by the American College of Radiology, FDA, and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. He has served and currently serves on hospital committees and is the medical director of the Imaging Department.
Dr. Oppenheimer is a member of the Boulder County Medical Society, Radiologic Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry.
He is always available to answer questions about medical imaging for the Boulder community. He works at the Medical Imaging Center as well as at Boulder Community
Hospital, Community Medical Center, and Foothills Hospital.
