Robert Sherrier, M.D.

docDr. Sherrier graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in chemistry. He attended Duke Medical School, graduating in 1985. He completed his residency at Duke, where he specialized in chest radiology, continued his research and published 14 peer-reviewed articles. He was promoted to assistant professor of radiology at Duke University Medical Center, where he worked until 1992.

Dr. Sherrier then moved to the Atlanta, GA area, first working for Quantum Radiology Northwest before serving as medical director of radiology at West Georgia Medical Center from 1997 to 2004. A love of the outdoors prompted Dr. Sherrier's move to Colorado, where he joined Boulder Radiologist, Inc. in 2004.  He works at the Medical Imaging Center as well as at Boulder Community Hospital, Community Medical Center, and Foothills Hospital.

Dr. Sherrier is board certified in diagnostic radiology. He is a member of the American Academy of Radiology, the Radiologic Society of North American and the Roetgen Ray Society. He enjoys all modalities of radiology but is most interested in chest radiology, including high-resolution chest CT, pulmonary embolism, and cardiac and thoracic CT-angiography.
